There are several species of lions but the common species of lions which are very popular are six (6).
1.  NORTH EAST CONGO LIONS
2.  KATANGA LIONS Found in West east Africa.
3. MAASAI LIONS OR SERENGETI LIONS Found in Tanzania.
4. WHITE LIONS.
5. KALAHARI LIONS Found in South Africa and mostly of southern Africa countries.
6. SOMALI LIONS Found in Somalia.
